The breakfast spread was delightful with a good variety, including options like yogurt and pastries, perfect for starting the day right. The family room I stayed in offered a comfy bed and some nice views of greenery outside, which was a pleasant surprise.
Despite being marketed as a non-smoking establishment, the smell of smoke lingered on the floor I was on, and I even found a cigarette butt in the elevator. The family double room felt a bit outdated and lacked basic amenities like a coffee maker or a refrigerator, which could be expected by some travelers. I found that the pillows were rather uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

A memorable family stay
Staying at Ibis Madrid Getafe felt cozy from the start. The breakfast spread was delightful, with a variety of options to energize us for the day. Cleanliness was impeccable, which was a big plus. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing shower in our room, and the staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating.
While our overall experience was positive, the location was a bit tricky. The nearest public transport options were around a 10-minute walk away, which could be challenging, especially with a young child in tow. Some noise from the bar area occasionally disrupted our peace during the evening hours.

The Double Room was comfy and clean. I got a quiet room at the end of the corridor, which was perfect for a good night's sleep. The bed was nice, and the shower was hot and powerful. Only downside was that it felt pretty standard, nothing fancy or unique about the decor.

Affordable and comfy stay!
I had a really nice time here. The staff were super friendly, especially the receptionist who gave me a quiet room. The bar was cool too, with some tasty snacks and drinks. The only thing was the area felt a bit industrial, but still with shops nearby. Perfect if you want to explore Madrid without breaking the bank.
